This session will explain why measures like numbers of courses held and attendance do not equal value in the eyes of our “corporate jury”. It will bring to light the key metrics that matter most.

This session is designed for training professionals and their business counterparts to watch together to start the conversation about how they can work together to create maximum business results. 

You will see how the Kirkpatrick Four Levels support the entire instructional design process so that training produces the results your business partners expect. The Kirkpatrick Foundational Principles will illustrate how training and the business can work together to create training programs with measurable bottom line value:

Your Facilitators

Dr. Jim Kirkpatrick is a Senior Consultant with Kirkpatrick Partners.

He conducts workshops and consults on topics including building a business partnership model, evaluation, and balanced scorecards for top organizations all over the world.

Jim has co-authored three books on evaluation with his father, Don. He has co-authored two books on the Kirkpatrick Business Partnership Model with his wife, Wendy.

Jim is known for his open, friendly facilitation style. His classes offer an opportunity for all participants to share their experiences and learn from each other in a comfortable environment. 

Wendy Kayser Kirkpatrick is the Director of Kirkpatrick Partners.

Wendy applies her skills as a certified instructional designer and expert facilitator to lead companies to measurable success. 

Wendy is the co-author of Kirkpatrick Then and Now (2009 Kirkpatrick Publishing) and Training on Trial (2010 AMACOM Books).  

Wendy draws on seventeen years of experience in retailing, marketing, and training to make her work relevant and impactful with measurable results.

 

Connectivity Information

This class will be delivered with GoToWebinar. This means that you will need a high-speed internet connection to view the presentation on your computer.

To access sound, you have two options:

1. Dial in via telephone to a toll number in the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and many European countries.

2. Use VOIP (voice over internet protocol) to hear the sound through your computer. If you can listen to music on your computer, this will work for you. To be able to participate in the class we require you to have a VOIP microphone if you use this sound option.
